1. Who are the events aimed at?
The project is aimed at third-country nationals in Germany and shortly before entering Germany. Refugees do not belong to the target group. You can register if you are a third-country national and one of these options applies to you:
· You have a visa for the purpose of looking for a job for skilled workers (Section 20 of the Residence Act (§20 Aufenthaltsgesetz) or for the purpose of looking for a training place (Ausbildungsplatz) to carry out qualified vocational training (qualifizierte Berufsausbildung) (Section 17(1) of the Residence Act (§17, Abs. Aufenthaltsgesetz)) OR a visa application
· You have a residence permit (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) that is valid for at least one year, or you have had a residence permit for more than 18 months (and your residence permit is not a residence permit for the purpose of studying, participating in a student exchange, an unpaid training measure, voluntary service or for research purposes)
· You have a EU Blue Card
2. Why do I have to show my residence permit/visa/visa application/EU Blue Card?
The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), which is why we need these documents to document the project. In order for us to be able to offer free events for newly arrived third-country nationals, it is important that we receive proof from all participants in our events.
3 What happens to my data?
Your data will only be stored for documentation purposes and will not be passed on to third parties. Detailed information can be found in the information on the GDPR.
4. Can I take part in several events?
Yes, if more people register for an event than there are places available, priority will be given to those who have not previously attended an event.
